Island Divers is the dive shop on property at Ti Kaye. Located in the building on the beach below the resort, shared with Ti Manje restaurant. Few dive shops in St.Lucia are located right in front of a diving hot spot and none have a wreck. So it’s really one of a kind.

You can book either directly with them or through the resort. Should you have some tough questions, it’s better to go directly to the shop and ask them as the front desk is limited as to what information they can pass out.

We can do the full range of courses offered by PADI. Please check out the rates page to see the full listing of what’s on offer. The gallery will also have some shots of the operation and staff so be sure to check out that page too.

If you are not so lucky as to be staying with us, you can still come and dive with us. For more on that and what day packages are available, contact the shop directly, they will arrange your transfers too.

Island Divers came to life in 2003/4 and like the rest of the resort, on a shoe string budget and creative financing. It began as a separate company and was that until 2006 when Ti Kaye took it over. Since then it has seen many positive changes. Running a good dive shop is tough but I think we got it licked now. It is in reality part of Ti Kaye but we decided to keep the name going since we do get other resorts diving with us and other passers through. So don't get confused.

Like Ti Kaye, Island Divers has become reputable. We invested in the dive shop and renovated it in 2007/8 with a better layout and added a training room for certification courses. If you are a diver, you will know dive shops and what they normally look like, well this one will raise your eye brows, it's that good now. We also added a Dock (Its our 4th I think..and hopefully last!). Last year our dive boat met with a dire and sudden end so we have a new one now, I think its better than the last one, so we landed on our feet that time. The equipment is all Mares and is kept in very good condition.

By far the most important asset of island Divers is the staff. They are few so i can give you a brief on each of them.

Jem is the manager of island divers. She is very young for someone in that position but don't let that fool you, she knows her stuff and has a very organized mind. So you are in good hands. If you dive with us, you will meet her.

Mano is the boat captain. He does a great job and is a super cautious fellow and has a good character. He too you shall meet should you go and dive.

Lester is the Scuba Instructor. He has come a long way since he started as a shop assistant. Trained under Jem, he does a great job and is an affable person. He will take care of you.

Asher is the newest of the team. He is the Dive Master at the shop and has fit in nicely with the team, I'm sure he will also take very good care of all who dive with him.

What I like best about the Island Divers team, having watched them in action, is they really are a team, not just on paper. They communicate well and when problems arise, it's a joy to watch them handle it.

They do Pool demos at the main pool so sign up for that or just try out the resort course. You can get more info directly from the shop.

If you are an avid diver and require quite a bit more information than you can get from the site, please contact the dive shop directly, either by email or telephone and they will be please to answer any question you may have about the operation or the diving.

I hope you get to try them out.
